Katherine Ray is a faculty member of the Thrival Company as well as the founder and President of Ray and Associates. In her role, she is responsible for the conduct of general management, human resource management, executive search, financial management, organizational studies, classification and compensation studies; feasibility studies, and applied research assignments for local governments, state agencies, and private sector clients.
She also provides training for clients in the areas of management and leadership skills, performance appraisal, team building and conflict resolution (including the administration of DISC personality profiles), and performs public speaking engagements on these topics and as a motivational speaker; facilitates board, council, and other leadership retreats for clients; and serves as an expert witness in litigation cases, especially related to human resources issues.
Ms. Ray is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) through the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM); as a Human Behavior Consultant (HBC), Advanced Level, through Personality Insights, Inc.; and is certified by The Values Centre to use Cultural Transformation Tools for building values-driven cultures in organizations. One of Ms. Ray’s specialties is the ability to bring people with divergent views together to resolve controversial issues.
